為了滿足哺育嬰孩的願望，不少女性求助醫學科技，期待能透過人工授精的方式受孕。然而，荷蘭卻有一名婦科醫師濫用權威信譽，常年調包擅用自己的精液，讓上門的女性在不知情的狀況下懷上自己的後代。若將因此出生的孩子們視為一個家庭，目前泛居歐美的疑似成員已有六十餘人。該名醫師雖已離世，但他留下人倫義理間剪不斷、情還亂的諸多矛盾，才正待梳理……。

 

導演延伸自己一鳴驚人的紀錄短片，將長年追蹤的「卡巴特醫師案」進一步發展成影集，完整呈現卡巴特醫師瞞天犯行的來龍去脈，受害母親多年來的心境轉折，以及懷疑自己是卡巴特後代的人們嘗試跨國聯繫、尋求解鎖血脈之謎的過程。在倫理和法律的爭議之外，導演編織長時間的深度訪談，對基因本性與後天教養的辯證，格外引人深思。

 

 

Former patients, mothers of “Karbaat children”, discuss their longstanding wish for a child, and how it turned them blind to the horrific insemination treatment.
