陰影家庭 Shadows in the House

古斯塔和妹妹白天只能在兒少之家度過，只因母親有酗酒問題。社工兼女牧師固定會到府探視，幫助這個深受酒精荼毒的家庭。在鏡頭注視下，古斯塔靦腆聊著心儀的女孩，妹妹則愛模仿電視裡的女星熱舞，母親信誓旦旦佯稱能戒酒。本片深入巴西聖保羅的貧民窟，近景拍攝窮巷陋室的一家三口，呈現貧窮、酒精與命運間難解的悖論。

Paulo, 15, attends the assistance center run by the Evangelical Church. His alcoholic mother, Giselle, meets Valeria, a social worker evaluating her ability to care for the children. Valeria, an evangelical pastor and mother of two, urges them to join her church. Gustavo claims to have a mysterious girlfriend, "Taina."
