故事的一端是興建鐵路的工人，指日可待的榮景隨著軌道緩步前進，世界如一格格的窗景不斷前移；故事的另一端，站員在長久廢棄的車站中，等待著那不知何時會再回來的火車，希望，被停滯的時間所封存。
